Madeleine Adams

Madeleine Adams, WET’s president elect, was first exposed to environmental activism as a child, when she worked on the Sierra Club-led effort to stop the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s proposed damming of Marble Canyon and Bridge Canyon on the Colorado River. She subsequently worked at the national headquarters of The Nature Conservancy and the National Wildlife Federation. She edited WET’s newsletter 2008-2020, and has served on the board 2008-2014 and 2019-present.
